Welcome to the Human Resources Association of Eastern Maine

We are an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management. Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point for networking, information, professional development and continued support of excellence in Human Resources.

Announcing a new location for HRAEM monthly meetings!

This fall we are trying something new!   Beginning in September, our meetings will be held at Eastern Maine Community College in Rangeley Hall.    Please join us for our next meeting scheduled for October 13, 2011 at 7:30 AM.   Meeting prices will remain the same as last year.

2012 Maine HR Convention

At the January HRAEM meeting, there will be a drawing for a FREE convention attendance.

 More Keynotes Announced!

  • Laurie Ruettimann visits from North Carolina. She’s an HR Futurist and creator of the “Punk Rock HR Blog.”
  • Seth Kahan visits from Maryland. He’s the author of “Getting Change Right” and a columnist for the Washington Post.
  • Cy Wakeman visits from Nebraska. Her counter-intuitive approach to HR is shown in her book “Reality Based Leadership.”
  • They join Angus King, Norm Bossio, plus three additional national keynoters TBA next month. 

 Workshop Talent from Across the Nation!  The full schedule of 44 workshops will be up on the website late in December, with registration set to open in January. 

AND the Maine HR Convention goes Global! We are searching for a handful of HR professionals from other countries to add different voices and perspectives.
